Greetings
Watchers!
Today I want to
announce the creation of a brand new CD series that I’m sure you will love to
see, because it’s what has been most requested for a long time. Please visit:

Also, I received
some grumblings from a few (very few) Watchers about my last teaching on giving,
so in answering one of the letters I received, it turned into a pretty good
teaching on what it is we students of Scripture are seeking in our studies.
By the way, this
Watcher decided that the letter may have been written in haste and without much
thought, so an apology followed. We were thankful and praised God for it.
Many of you may
feel the same, so I hope you find it informative.
Greetings fellow
Watcher!
Thank you for
your letter. I truly appreciate it and of course I do accept your apology.
Having said
that, I want you to know that I respect your right to feel what ever it is you
feel. This Ministry is based upon the teaching of the Apostle Paul. And as
such we only teach what Paul taught, because he was the only person in the
world to whom God revealed the mystery of the Church. So, any message about the
Church has to be found in his teaching.
Until that
revelation, the Church was hidden in the mind of God, and no one could have know
or guessed it, because it was a non thing so no one would ever have to think of
it or even consider it. The prophecies that were fulfilled by Jesus were
specific to the Jews. He taught the Apostles, who were Jews, so they could
bring the message, of who He was, and how He fulfilled the prophecies to be
their Messiah, to the Jews. Why would they, the Jews or the Apostles have ever
given a thought to the Church of today? There is no basis for drawing that
conclusion whatsoever. Yet the Church of today acts like Jesus came only for
them.
What they don't
realize is that if the Jews had accepted Jesus as Messiah, the Church would
never have existed. The false deliverer would have come in A.D. 70, and then
Jesus would have returned to save them and it would all be over.
But, that's not
what happened! The Jews rejected Jesus' sacrifice, so the Church was revealed
to Paul who was shown the basis for the transference from Law to Grace that was
made to have the Word of God come back fulfilled. So, in A.D. 70, when it could
have ended, it didn't. Instead, God threw them out of the Land of Israel, and
scattered them until He fulfilled His promise to bring them back from the four
corners of the Earth.
During the time
of the Jews scattering, the substitutes that Paul recruited, the "new creatures
in Christ", were growing and flourishing.
God specifically
sealed up the time when He would return to complete His covenant with the Jews
in the Prophecy of Daniel, which would only be seen in it's time. That prophecy
concerns only the Jews and Jerusalem. It's about what will happen to them in
the final days of their covenant. It also contains the trail across time on the
land where these final days of their covenant will happen.
Paul was fully
aware of the Prophecy of Daniel and understood that he could not know the time
of the end until the event of the prophecy were seen, so his warning about the
end times to the first converts was to be enlightened and then watch, and when
you see it happening, warn your brothers that are asleep, and rejoice together
that you can watch the day of your redemption come to pass. That message is
applicable in this time, because we see the events of Daniel occurring.
And then by
telling the Colossians that the Messiah and the feasts of the Jews were but
shadows cast to the future of the Church, which the Colossians fully understood
at the time, Paul tells us exactly what to watch for when we see the prophecy of
Daniel being acted out on the stage of history.
But, what the
Colossians fully understood about the feast of the Jews, has been lost to us in
the 2.000 + years of the Church. But, now, in this day, when Daniel's prophecy
is so clearly seen occurring on the stage of history, we, who study such things,
have a reason to become interested in the Jews and Jerusalem in detail.
Hence, when I
read that message to the Colossians about shadows being cast by feasts, I have
to ask Paul what he means by that. And when I follow the trail of the feasts
and what they represent I clearly see what those Colossians always knew from the
start! Ascension/Rapture! That's the New Guru! And that is the message of
this Ministry!
Now, my teaching
on giving that got “up your nose”, as you put it, is Paul’s teaching on giving.
Paul taught the Church. If you are part of the Church, then his message is to
you. Paul taught the principle of giving God’s way. And God’s way is not for
need. It’s with frankincense; joy. The joy of participation which God built
into our way of life.
To be joyful,
giving must be done as an object of faith. And, for that faith, which in this
case is the ACT of giving itself, God promises rewards. One in particular is a
blessing poured out that cannot be contained.
Now Malachi 3:10
comes into play. Even though as an old Testament prophet who spoke to the Jews,
this teaching on where to give becomes universal in nature because it’s self
evident. “Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be meat in mine house . . .”
That universally
directs the place to give as the storehouse where you get your meat. That’s why
institutions of learning charge tuition, including Bible Colleges.
In the case of
this Ministry, which is a teaching Ministry, we do not charge for our knowledge
and wisdom gained over time. But we do ask that if our teachings are a blessing
to you that you respond in kind, God’s way.
And, as a thank
you gift for all support offerings, upon request, we send our teaching on CD’s
for your home study. I know you have a set, so you know the value of owning
such a high quality product.
It’s true that
we remind everyone at the end of each teaching about giving, but how else would
you know if we did not. Remember this may be the tenth time you’ve read it, but
it’s also the first time for someone out there in cyber space. So, please don’t
be annoyed that we always remind our readers that we do this teaching to survive
on what God sends us through you.
After all, who
else is there but the collective you, who are the Watchers? Did I lasso you and
drag you to study with me? No! Most of you tell me that you thanked God for
finding me, and what a blessing the teaching is! But on the other hand, in most
cases, that tree doesn’t bear any fruit.
You are the
recipients of this message that you’re telling me is a blessing to you; not me!
Part of that message is Paul’s teaching on giving God’s way. And God offers a
special blessing for doing it His way. That’s good news! Now, you have to deal
with that in your heart, I already have.
Like we wrote,
it’s the hardest truth of all. But, it’s one that has to be learned because
it’s part of the whole teaching on the Body of Christ.
Thank you for
listening and God bless.
Humbly,
Your brother in Christ
Brother Sal
