I hope you have had time to contemplate the prophecy world’s earth shaking words of King Abdullah II that I sent you a few days ago. Below is my commentary on it. In some places, I try to say what the words might be saying in the context of Daniel. I hope you enjoy it. Let’s hear from you.
For years I have taught that when we see the meeting between the little horn and the 10 kings, we would be at the edge of time.
Well, in the Daniel Prophecy we have passed the point of the rise of the little horn. He has already met with the 10 kings from the region who gave him authority to find a way to peace. Three dissenters came away from that meeting. Their uprooting is almost assured by the 911 attack, but not until the peace is reached. The little horn has become the darling of the political world, given the pen, representing the free trade agreement with him, and then traveled around the world using the pen to gain everyone’s signatures to his 2 basket plan for peace in the Middle East. Now he is being lured into expanding his Hashemite Kingdom to include most of Iraq. So, the plan is laid in the open for the little horn to get back to Babylon, so he is ruling from there when the beast from the pit is released to posses him.
The little horn receives his crown in honor. He wins the kingdom by flattery. None of this spells war on his part. The kingdom is given to him by those who do the uprooting.
Now the King makes this speech in which he proclaims that his family, the Hashemites, the descendants of the Prophet Muhammad, have served Islam for 40 generations and that the true voice of Islam reflects the core values of his faith, which are compassion, goodwill and respect for others. He bids that “Peace be upon us”.
He says: “I carry the name of my great-grandfather, Abdullah I, who was assassinated by an extremist. In the same attack, my father, then age 15, was hit by a bullet. He survived, and as King Hussein became a great peacemaker. He always believed a real leader stands up against the forces of destruction.”
At his coronation, Abdullah II vowed to carry on in his fathers footsteps. It is well known among the Arab regimes, that ever since the massacre of his family in 1958, King Hussein had vowed to put Hashemite rule back into Iraq. a real leader stands up against the forces of destruction
Although I believe it’s already known among the players, it would not be prudent for the King to show the slightest interest in ruling Iraq at this time. There are already plenty of nuts trying to kill him for any number of reasons. He’d be foolish to add that one to list. Don’t be looking for him to campaign for the job.
His “estranged” uncle, the former crown prince, attended a meeting in London with an Iraqi opposition group, and was criticized within the family for doing so. I think it was how and when they solidified the arrangements.
Here comes the leadership qualities that he mentioned above. He is calling for all Islam to: “speak out boldly in defense of a dynamic, moderate Islam -- an Islam that upholds the sanctity of human life, reaches out to the oppressed, respects men and women alike, and insists on the fellowship of all humankind. This is the true Islam of the Prophet, and the Islam that terrorists seek to destroy.”
Rally round me and the flag my Arab brothers and fellow Muslims or the terrorists, led by the despot rouges, will bring destruction upon us. We can’t let that happen! Not as long as a descendant of the Prophet lives and breathes!
Even as we begin the 21st century -- an era of global exchange and exploding knowledge
He might be saying: My dear brothers, our fathers understood the value of western educations, it is our responsibility to bring our heritage of intelligent, blessed, industrious and talented people into the century in which they live. The world is ready to give us what we need to capture our dreams and become leaders in the society of the peoples on the earth. And, we don’t lack the leadership, morally or religiously! Staying the course for peace is the right decision. The only solution to life moving on in the world is peace among ourselves and our neighbors. The world is waiting to hear, and history will record our decisions. Is it possible that we could choose 6th century extremism over the 21st century’s exploded knowledge, and a peaceful and prosperous way toward spreading our faith?
Here he’s showing the leadership required for this day and age.
God's name is being exploited to promote rifts and justify conflict. Differences between faiths become differences between people, and all humanity suffers.
As we know that it’s not Allah’s plan to promote rifts and justify conflicts, at this time it becomes our responsibility to restore sanity, because we are the greatest part of the humanity that will suffer because of our inactions, and failures to accept peace among ourselves. Our hope as Nations lies in the generations to come. The future holds no place for them if we fail them now.
Nowhere is our help needed more than in the Holy Land, where Palestinians and Israelis alike are crying out for peace, stability and security. Together we must urge their leaders to hear the voices of reason and peace, end oppression and occupation, stop the violence and create a future of hope.
Now, there’s leadership! “Together we must urge . . .” Powerful words! He states the problem from within the solution.
The solution is a united stand. He says WE must! And his appeal extends beyond Arabs to all nations of the peace loving world. That is where he went to get the “two basket plan” ratified.
My father and great-grandfather believed that a peaceful, political solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict would be essential to defeating extremism and building a world of mutual acceptance and peace. Events show that they were right. What is needed now is clear to all sides: a fully independent Palestinian state and an Israel that is integrated, in peace and security, into its Arab neighborhood. This is why Jordan has strongly supported the Arab peace initiative that came out of Beirut last March, which commits all Arab states to a peace agreement with Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state and includes collective security guarantees and an agreed solution to the refugee problem.
Now, there is the “two basket” plan in a nutshell. The world’s guarantee of a fully independent Palestinian state and an Israel that is integrated, in peace and security, into its Arab neighborhood… commit all Arab states to a peace agreement with Israel and the establishment of a Palestinian state and includes collective security guarantees and an agreed solution to the refugee problem.
And don’t forget here that now Jordan (The Arabs) have a free trade agreement, just like Israel. So with a fully secure peace, and a wide open trade agreement, things could get real good in the Mideast, and maybe eventually, the trade dollars will equal the petrodollars in value, which could eventually make a memory out of the once dominant oil markets, turning them into a smooth running, money making, utilitarian vehicle that allows all other commerce to grow abundantly throughout the world. Prophetically said – get on with the buying and the selling.
Jordan is also working with the United States, Russia, Europe and the United Nations to craft a road map and timetable for a permanent, sustainable end to the conflict.
Here the King is stating publicly that he is carrying on in his fathers footsteps. What a guy! Always working. He had better be. He’s standing on the edge of a cliff. Jordan is overloaded with Palestinians and the Israelis want to ship more of them there, and until the deal is complete, he doesn’t get Iraq. President Bush is scaring the pants off of him right now.
He delivered the Arabs, but they want peace before a war with Iraq. They know the consequence. They could loose control of their people. The extremism of Islam spreads like wildfire among the young.
The US strategy has worked perfectly up to now. We not only know who’s against us, but we have infiltrated their land with an army equipped to annihilate. The Arab world is surrounded. So your highness, you had better be burning the midnight oil.
It is a terrible truth that for many people, the Holy Land has come to symbolize extremism and injustice, rather than peace on Earth. But we, Earth's citizens and leaders, have a chance to defy hatred and defeat terror. In doing so, we can help this region, so important to all our faiths, lead the way to a better future for all the world.
That speech is his claim to leadership, and the repository of the true voice of Islam. To me this represents the beginning of his public rise as the peacemaker who will eventually be crowned at the confirmation of the peace of Daniel 9:27.
There is a peace proposal on the table that includes a solution to the temple mount. The little horn king has the authority over the Mount and has put it on the table as a bargaining chip.
Pushing is coming to shoving in the Middle East right now. Somehow peace has to come of it. Peace is the only solution.
Why can’t they see that?
Because Paul teaches that they have run into the restraining force. The Church. Until it is taken out of the way, this process can not continue to it’s prophesied conclusion.
Paul also teaches that the catching away occurs in the Spring, 40 days after First Fruits. Paul also teaches that the dead in Christ rise on First Fruits. Paul also teaches the children of the light and the day to Watch! And then when the dead in Christ rise and are seen, they are to Warn, and rejoice!
Now, the watch is showing that the events are happening so fast, and the dialogue is such that we can see that the "little horn" is on his way back to rule from Babylon! And, the Arabs are holding fast against a war with Saddam, along with the rest of the world that signed on to that "two basket" plan of the kings, because they want peace before war! Just like Daniel and Revelation show.
I'm sure that part of the agreement was that they would look the other way and not say a word, when we got rid of Saddam, if they made peace first. Peace first, otherwise they know what might happen to their regimes. The street might join the radical movements and overthrow them, and then you have chaos in the Oil Land!
The King did his job well. They all signed on. But the day that he was to receive his down payment, on the deal to deliver the Arabs (the free trade agreement), his plane turned back toward home when he heard the news that the World Trade Center and the Pentagon had been attacked by extremist Arabs.
I truly believe that attack was in retaliation to that trade agreement which was the down payment, for getting the Arabs to capitulate to the West, in trade for peace in the region, which would permit them to move into the same century in which they live. The final payment is what gets him back to rule in Baghdad. The promise of his Hashemite throne expanded to include Iraq.
Three weeks later when he was appearing with President Bush at the delayed ceremony, he was given the pen with which the agreement was signed. He left directly from Washington on his whirlwind trip around the world touting and receiving endorsements for his "two basket" plan for peace in the Mideast.
After the "world" had signed on, it was decided that it better came with the weight of the Saudis touting it, so at the big meet in Lebanon, when they put the plan on the table, the King, and Mubarak were absent. Threats on their lives was the reason given for staying at home.
President Bush decided to rattle his mighty saber at Iraq, bringing the Mideast to the boiling point, exposing all who are the enemies of peace. And, now we have occupied the Middle east in force, and have our enemies surrounded and infiltrated.
So, the saber rattling strategy is working well. We have placed an Army among our enemies with the means to annihilate them, and cause such an uproar that we know exactly who is with us and who isn't, and brought the Palestinian/Israeli issue to the boiling point. Now the sane Palestinians are asking for peace, and the Israelis are favorably responding. All because the USA keep screaming that we want to kill Saddam. All the while, Saddam is buying some private beach front property in Libya for his retirement. I'm sure that along with his "retirement plan", his "little cottage by the sea" comes with extradition protection and a built in security system .It's reported that it was a bit pricey at 3.5 Billion dollars, but what's a billion or two among rich Arab dictators anyway?
If Saddam would choose luxury accommodations in exile in Libya, over certain death, and being remembered as a disgusting despot, he lives to attack another day, with the funds and the friends to back him. That leaves the door wide open for peace to me made quickly. And according to the "two basket" plan, the world that signed on would guarantee Israel's security, and the Jews, along with their free trade agreement, would be taken into the society as an equal partner in trade. With all of that relief, the solution to the question of religious rights and refugees lies well within the power of the king to resolve.
With Jordan already 70% Palestinian, and him with his shinny new Iraq, and being a very benevolent ruler, Jordan could become Palestine once again, run by the new sanely elected government. Within a year, the fifty five year struggle over Israel’s right to exist would seem like it was just all a bad dream.
With the world ready to secure Israel, the forth coming attack from the extremist factions, in retaliation against the peace, led by Libya, Syria and Iraq's former leader, the world coalition comes against them and defeats them, uprooting those dictatorships that wallow in terrorism and destruction. Now, peace can reign in the Mideast. And the "little horn/peacemaker" is sitting on his throne in Baghdad.
I remember a day not to long ago when that scenario was still being laughed at, as it was for over 20 years. History is now showing me, and anybody else watching from this perspective, in daily bold print headlines exactly how the scope of the prophecy is being achieved in real time. I believe that we are in the prelude days just before the opening of the 1st seal, which is making peace (the confirming of the covenant with many), and that the real time, time sequence is set in the Spring feasts of the Jews.
The events of history are lining up to meet the criteria of the prophecy. There is no reason in the world to think that it will not be fulfilled in the fullness of it's time (the Spring feasts), just as all the others before it. Because, there are events scheduled by prophecy to happen after this time. This time is merely a time on the way to future events. The events that we await will come and go as time marches on.
Our role now is to spread the awareness to as many as we can. I know how hard that job is. I’ve been doing it from here, full time for 6 years. And it’s you that I have to thank. The Lord sees to it that each month he moves enough of you to help us financially that we keep going.
I know that December is a very tough month, but I ask that you pray our confirming prayer with me. We made it through December Lord, and we thank you in Jesus’ holy name. Amen. Thank you.
God bless all of you.
