WAKE UP EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
Greetings Watchers! Todays Mideast news warrants some commentary. If reading between the lines is still an art form, then these lines present quite a pretty picture: *Colin does a whirlwind tour of Mideast. *All the Arab leaders immediately start meeting each other . *The subject of the meetings is the Iraqi question. Remember folks, the meeting of the 10 Kings from the Roman portion of the Moslem Empire have met and decided on Peace, and there were 3 dissenters. If you havent gotten a copy of the study I did on that meeting, you are missing the biggest part of the show. Is your interest waxing cold? God is bringing this to fruition just as He wrote it centuries ago right before our eyes. How can anyone be missing this? How can anyone not get excited? Yet I get letters from some of you who are supposedly watching with me, about the EU that just dont make any sense when compared to reality. Please, Wake Up and smell the coffee! Tradition makes void the word of God! Check out the articles below. They are screaming in your ear what is really happening. I suggest that you start waking up those closest to you. They might listen - at least I hope they do! You have my script to use to "Shake & Wake" them. I hope I get the video done before it's too late! I sure could use a little financial help in pulling that project together. But, God knows that, and He will either move in your heart, or He won't - but if He does, please listen to Him! Ive not heard from hardly anyone about the teaching on Daniel, in fact, only 2 of you, so I must be boring you to death. Therefore, Im not posting any further episodes. Those who want to learn more can write me and I will send it directly to them. All I can say is that this is not the time to fall asleep folks! How can I say it any more clear than that? I hope you hear me. Don't let these days be as the days of Noah! Get it? God bless. JORDAN TIMES2/27/01 Mubarak due in Amman todayArafat, Hariri to arrive WednesdayBy Saad G. Hattar KEY STATEMENT: #1....The whirlwind of inter-Arab activity follows US Secretary of State Colin Powell's lightning swing of the region and precedes the Arab summit set for March 27 in Amman. #2....According to diplomats in Amman, the Arab-Israeli peace process has taken a back seat under the Republican administration of President George W. Bush. The apparent shift in foreign policy direction brought to the fore the Iraqi question at the expense of other regional issues, they said. AMMAN Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is due here on Tuesday for talks with His Majesty King Abdullah. Also, on Wednesday, Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri and the Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat will arrive in Amman for discussions with the King, official and diplomatic sources said on Monday. It will be Arafat's second such visit to the capital in 72 hours. The whirlwind of inter-Arab activity follows US Secretary of State Colin Powell's lightning swing of the region and precedes the Arab summit set for March 27 in Amman. ""Mubarak's visit falls within continued consultation and coordination ahead of the Arab summit,"" said a Royal Court source. He said the brief talks will ""cover the current situation in the region in general and means to unify Arab positions"" before the summit. The two leaders met last in Cairo on Nov. 26, weeks after the Egyptian capital hosted an emergency Arab summit in solidarity with the Aqsa Intifada. Palestinian Chargéé d'Affaires in Amman Atta Khairi said Arafat's discussions with King Abdullah will centre on ""what has been floated in talks with Powell"" who visited Egypt, Israel, the Palestinian territories and Jordan over Saturday and Sunday. The US secretary of state later flew to Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Syria where he ended his first tour of the region as Washington's chief diplomat. According to diplomats in Amman, the Arab-Israeli peace process has taken a back seat under the Republican administration of President George W. Bush. The apparent shift in foreign policy direction brought to the fore the Iraqi question at the expense of other regional issues, they said. Arafat's visit comes on the heels of an agreement between Israeli Prime Minister-elect Ariel Sharon and leaders of the Labour Party for the formation of a broad national coalition government. After his talks with King Abdullah, Arafat will leave Amman and fly to Cairo to meet with Mubarak, according to Khairi. Official sources said the Lebanese prime minister will discuss means to activate the stalled peace process and enhance bilateral relations. High on the agenda will be a mega regional project for piping Egyptian gas to Jordan, Syria and Lebanon. Meanwhile, Foreign Minister Abdul Ilah Khatib is due in London on Thursday and Paris the next day for talks with his counterparts Robin Cook and Hubert Vedrine.
Powell says Israel, PA must seek their own security solutions KEY STATEMENT: The main focus of Powell's four-day visit to the region has been the danger which Powell said Iraq poses to the Middle East. At the news conference, he again insisted to Arab countries that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein needed to be restrained. "but at the moment, I am not asking for any assistance or help from Israel" http://www3.haaretz.co.il/eng/scripts/article.asp?mador=14&datee=2/26/01&id=111306
Ha'aretz 2/27/01 Sharon backs U.S.-Jordan trade pact Prime Minister-elect Ariel Sharon met late last week with a delegation of U.S. Senators, led by Appropriations Committee Chair Ted Stevens (R-Alaska). Sharon told the group: "Jordan is a very influential stabilizing power in the region, and the only state which has decided to solve the refugee problem. It's important to strengthen Jordan, and protect the alliance with it." Also in this meeting, Sharon unveiled his plan to attain a long-term interim agreement with the Palestinians. [is this saying seven years or what...??] http://www3.haaretz.co.il/eng/scripts/article.asp?mador=14&datee=2/26/01&id=111294
