A LETTER TO P
Greetings Watchers!
The other day I received a
letter from Watcher P. A very Scripture savvy new Watcher with a 20 year
history of studying prophecy. She told me about a close friend that studies
with a teacher that thinks that its not all that important for Christians be
focused on the Rapture
I thought you might be
interested in my reply.
God Bless.
Humbly,
Brother Sal
Greetings Sister P!
Thanks for the note. I just
put your Audio CD in the package to send to you. It will go out today.
I'm glad that you are studying
all the end time material. Like I tell everyone, you don't have to believe a
word I say. Let the Lord move in you to hear the truth of it. The message is
the Apostle Paul's, not mine. I'm only the messenger, so I wouldn't expect
anyone to believe me. You don't even know me, but you do know The Apostle
Paul. And you can trust him!
I can't understand how your
friends teacher can teach on the end times, and say that its close at hand and
not think that it's important to focus on the Rapture. Once you are saved, it's
the only thing that is important! Now, if it were 100 years away, I might
understand that attitude. But don't tell me that it's close and it's not
important to know about. That is a contradiction in terms. What kind of a
teacher contradicts himself? Probably one that isn't sure of his teaching.
The problem is the same.
Religion! The big difference between me and the rest of the world is that I
understand that Religion and it's traditions make void the word of God. And,
people believe so little that when someone comes along who challenges those
traditions, he is feared as a heretic. After all, Jesus fell in the same
category. They disbelieved him so much, that they feared him, so they killed
him. Am I comparing myself to Jesus? No! I'm comparing the result of Religion
and Tradition on the Word of God.
The tradition trap is easy to
fall into. You begin with an incorrect premise and build everything on that.
After a while, there is no truth left in it. And, I fear that's the way with
Paul's teaching. And It's so easy to understand. Paul made it easy because he
was talking to people who heard it for the first time. It had to be said
simply, and it was. But today, language difference makes it little harder to
understand. But, God in His wisdom kept the story line so simple that anyone
looking beyond the traditions of religion could see and understand it.
All I know is that there are no
holes in Paul's story. It is complete from start to finish without a thread out
of place. And that can only come from one place, truth. And God is truth, and
truth is simple.
God meant us to know all of
this, that's why he told us about it. Why would he hide it from us? It's not a
secret! It's been there since the beginning. Only the timing was sealed until
it's time. No need to tell people who it's not going to effect when it would
end. But for the people of the time, it becomes imperative to know if we are to
carry out
Gods plan for us during that
time. So, the message is already there, but the understanding of its
significance to the end times isnt understood until the end times arrive in
time.
Another thing to remember is
that God was forced into this alternative plan by the stiff-necked ness of those
for whom it was intended. His word could not come back void to Him. After the
rejection, the object was not only to have His word come back to Him fulfilled,
but to use the substitutes in a way that would drive those stiff-necked chosen
people back to Him. When it was time for that to occur, why would he keep it a
secret any longer?
But, the religion has everyone
believing the exact opposite, and relies heavily on quoting Scripture out of
context that has nothing to do with anything but suiting their purpose.
How many times have you heard,
"we can't know the day or the hour" used in relation to the Rapture of the
Church? The ignorance and lack of knowledge that's shown by saying that is
monumental! That is the best example of how tradition makes void the word of
God, and gets everyone to start off on an incorrect premise. From there its
all down hill. All of your studies about the Rapture become biased on that
foolishness. So, the result is you wind up believing something so far fetched,
so unintended by God, that it causes you to miss it. Now, that sounds more like
Satan's handiwork, not God's.
But, that all fits very well
into the rest of Satan's plan for man. His biggest lie was his first one;
surely you won't die, he said. But, surely they did; physically and
spiritually. Today that lie has been rephrased to say, when you die, you go to
heaven. Heaven is easy to attain. Now everyone thinks that all you have to do
is live a good life, and when you die you go to heaven. Which is certainly not
the case as Scripture spells it out. And yet they all hold up the Book, sing
halleluiahs and swear it's God's word! What a paradox.
Is there a way back from all of
this? Its all built into Scripture. God will send His 40 days of warning,
just as He did for Nineveh, and the opportunity for each to repent will be
omnipresent. That will be the period of time for every individual on the planet
to face their moment of truth. It all still comes down to free will, right
where it started. God will save those who choose Him, and destroy those who
don't. Period!
How did that truth get lost?
The simplest basics are lost in the mumbo jumbo of traditions.
God built the 40 day warning
period into the Messiah's only sign. All the way back then. And He kept His
Word and spared them then, and will do so again, as He brings these covenants to
their completion. God intended that the sign of the Messiahs work should
result in living, as opposed to Noahs time when the message was death to
everyone except whom He saved.
The Messiah of the Jews is
passed to the 'new creatures in Christ' by way of the same vehicle that brought
Him to the Jews. The Feasts, or set times, whose rituals He made mandatory in
their covenant to inherit God's Kingdom on the earth.
Those fulfillments of the set
times by Jesus, The Messiah of the Jews, have been promised to the new
creatures in the Messiah. Each fulfillment is mine to claim because I became a
new creature in Jesus, not because I became a member of a religious sect.
These fulfillments include the
50 days of the feast of First Fruits. The promises of those 50 days are ours to
claim! And, as I have taught, Scripture clearly explains the events of that 50
days in the time of the fulfillment of them by Jesus. So, we know from Paul
exactly what to claim, and from Daniels word, exactly when its time to claim
it. Would you expect anything less from God? Does His Word indicate anything
else but that?
The tradition of, you cant
know the day or the hour, is blinding Christianity to the truth of the Joy in
the end times that the Apostle Paul taught. He said to Rejoice! And thats
truth you cant deny no matter which sect you belong to.
