IT WAS ALL FOR THE JEWS
The story-line of the Bible
flows in one continuous stream, and it’s all about the Jews. Jesus came as
Messiah to the Jews, who rejected Him, so He’s coming again, for the Jews, in
vengeance to drive them back to Him.
The end times is about that
time.
None of this has anything to do
with the Church! Jesus did not come for the Church the first time, and He’s not
coming for the Church when He returns.
The Church is the body of new
creatures in Christ created to fulfill God’s Word of salvation which was made
void by the Jews rejection of the Messiah.
God’s covenant with the Jews is
a National Covenant, which is on going to this day and promises citizenship in
His Kingdom on earth.
The covenant with the Church is
an individual covenant, offered to everyone, based upon a personal trusting
relationship with God and sustained by Faith. For that faith, the promise is a
heavenly citizenship, and rulership in the Kingdom on earth.
By it’s individual nature, Gods
Word of salvation returned fulfilled the instant the first person uttered his
acceptance.
It was years after the
Pentecost of Acts 2, that the mystery of the Church, which had been hidden in
the mind of God, was revealed to Paul. It was then that God knew that His Word
was void with the Jews, and that a substitute was needed to return it fulfilled.
Paul founded and taught the
first converts in the New Testament Church. They were no longer Jew or Gentile,
but new creatures in Christ, with a destiny. And, he taught extensively about
the end of the covenant at the Rapture. He knew that it would happen in the
time when the Jews were saying peace and safety, and that sudden destruction
would hit them like a thief in the night because they weren’t watching.
He said that those who are
watching and see those days come to pass will see it because they are the
children of the day and the light, and that they were not appointed unto the
wrath that will drive the Jews back to God and their Messiah.
In fact, Paul taught that their
sudden destruction could not happen until the substitutes were taken out of the
way, and that would happen in the end times, and the timing for the end times
was sealed by God in the prophecy of Daniel.
So what Jesus taught the Jews,
and what Paul taught the Church is to watch for the events of the prophecy of
Daniel to appear on the stage of history. When you see them, know that your
redemption draweth nigh.
Identifying the moments in real
time when real time and Biblical time come to the surface where we can see it is
very important to watchers. It’s how you can tell where you are in Biblical
time.
For instance. The first day of
the end times was the day that the prophecy of the return of Jews to the Land of
Israel was fulfilled. End times for the Jews was not a possibility until first
they returned to the Land. That was prophecy on May 13, 1948, and history on
May 14, 1948. That was a day that Biblical time and real time met at the
surface where it was visible to all who looked.
International law requires that
a new state remain in existence for fifty years before it is fully recognized as
a lawful internationally recognized entity. May 14, 1998 marked that
anniversary and opened the way for the first time for the events of the final
days to begin.
One of the final days events in
Daniel to be watching for is the meeting of the ten kings that form a loose
confederacy to make peace with Israel. They give the authority to an eleventh
king, and three leave the meeting dissenting to the peace. In 1980 my teacher
said that when we see that event come to pass, we would be at the edge of the
end of time. That meeting took place at Sharam el Sheik on the Red Sea, in
Egypt, in October, 2000!
Once again, real time and
Biblical time have met and come to the surface where anyone who is watching
could see it. The world is heading right down the trail of the prophecy of
Daniel, just as it must, if these are the end times of which it speaks.
And the end times of which it
speaks is written to the Jews, and Jerusalem, as it should be, because this is
all about the Jews. So, if you want to witness the events of the end times, the
Bible says you have to watch the Jews and Jerusalem and what’s happening to
them.
Their recent history has them
on the brink of peace. A peace that fits the prophecy and the landscape of the
prophecy perfectly. All that was needed was an event that would turn the world
down the path to the conclusion of the prophecy.
That event took place on
September 11, 2001! The world is now on a march into the end times and there is
no turning back.
If you want to know and
understand more about the reality and truth about the end times of the Bible,
you have to study. It won’t come to you by osmosis.
